Like Easter, Christmas finds its origins in the Christian faith, marking the birth of Jesus Christ. Just before Christmas each year join us for a night of community celebration with items, Christmas carols and a short message acknowledging the true meaning of Christmas. Bring the whole family. Remember to stay for Christmas celebratory food afterwards.

Wacky Water Day
Family Event
This is run by Roslyn Education and Community Health (REACH) group at Skoglund Park towards the end of February, early March each year for the whole family. Our main sponsor is the Palmerston North City Council. There are a number of water activities, including free access to the Freyberg pools. There are inflatable obstacle courses, slides and bouncy castles with the foam cannon being a crowd favourite. Multiple stalls provide various goodies, along with valuable community information for local residents. This day is free of charge.
